The Week of March 23, 2020

A lot has happened since we've said goodbye to start our spring break!  The Conavirus has quickly changed not only our lives at home, but also with how we will conduct school.  This week, use the independent learning days choice boards (see below if you need another copy) to complete one activity of your choice each day this week (a total of 5 assignments this week).  You will be required to give these finished assignments to your homeroom teacher within 5 days of us returning to school.

As of today, classes will resume for students on Thursday, April 2, 2020.

While not required, feel free to log onto,, and and do choice works.  Email me at or contact me on if you forget your log-on information.

You may have noticed that I shared a "Boredom Busters" collection with you at!  It's filled with fun crafts, puzzles, tricks, and games you can play while you are away from school.  Check it out!

Finally, I want to share with you the importance of taking care of yourself both physically and mentally.  Times of uncertainty can be scary and stressful.  Embrace these feelings and speak to your family and friends about them.  Don't underestimate the power of eating healthy and getting daily exercise in improving your well-being.  Be mindful about things that are both out of and in your control, and have patience with others as we navigate this situation together.

Take care,
Mr. Trent
