The Week of March 11, 2019

It's finally here...the last week of school before spring break!  Please note the following changes in schedule for the week:

-  Tuesday is a St. Patrick's Day dance during your explorations!  It will cost $1 to attend.  There will also be fun St. Patrick's Day items for sale at the dance.  All proceeds will go towards Relay for Life.
- The 6th grade camping field-trip will take place this Wednesday through Friday.  Please be sure to refer to the notes sent to you by Ms. Corinna for important information about the trip.
-  Friday is a dress down day for $1.00.  All proceeds will go towards Relay for Life.

Monday's lessons will include studying the amendments to the US Constitution and a review of important places in the United States.  I will be on the 6th grade camping trip Wednesday through Friday.  For those of you not attending the trip, I will prepare a work packet for you to complete each day.  It will include both language arts and social studies work, as well as a daily www. quill.org and www.newsela.org assignments. A task-list will be stapled to the top of your packet to help you keep track of your assigned works. These are to be completed each day by dismissal and placed in my inbox so they can be checked.

4th and 5th graders will have a quiz on the following vocabulary words Monday, March 25th.

All students (except those 6th graders going on the trip) will have a quiz on the following words Friday, March 15th.
