October is passing quickly! I'm excited
to spend another awesome week with you! This week's lessons will include
working with weather forecasting, measurement conversions,
fraction/decimal computation, and post-Civil War America. We will
be starting our new novel studies books, and I am SO EXCITED to share with
you the books we will be reading together! Please remember to finish your
follow-up work after each of your lessons. Your required assignments will
include your weekly Google Classroom Journal, based upon a
current event article. Please have the journal completed by the
end of the day THURSDAY. This will allow Ms. Koral and myself time to
respond to your work Friday. You will also have a vocabulary quiz Friday.
You will get your words Monday. Please study them daily to be
prepared for your quiz. As always, structure your time so you can achieve your
30 minute weekly goal of online www.tenmarks.com practice
and weekly Greek & Latin root work requirement.
Please keep the following things in
mind concerning this upcoming week:
1. I will be out of the room a number of times this week to attend important meetings. I am
expecting an exemplary report from the substitute upon my return.
2. Friday is a dress down day for a $1.00 donation. All proceeds will benefit UNCF. Thank you for your support!

due each Monday. I will send progress reports home for you to review
each Friday.
