The Week of May 8, 2017

Congratulations, once again for an amazing musical!  I've received so much good feedback from those who attended the show!  You did a wonderful job telling the story of language!

Now that the musical has come and gone, we can get back to a somewhat-normal routine for the last two weeks of the school year.

Your math lessons this week will focus on circles.  We will start by reviewing circle vocabulary.  Once we have there terminology in place, we will discover how to find the circumference of a circle using only the measure of its radius and Pi.

You will have homework to complete Monday and Tuesday evening.  A TenMarks assignment is due by Friday.  There will NOT be a quiz on circles and circumference this week.

Your LAST choice sheet of the year will be given to you Monday!  Please choose at least 2 math and 2 science choices to complete over the next two weeks.  Your choices are due next Friday, the last day of school.

Our rescheduled trip to Tybee Island will take place this Friday.  Be sure to pack a picnic lunch, sunscreen, and bug spray.  You may also wish to bring a camera to take some amazing pictures from the top of the Tybee Lighthouse!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Mr. Trent
