Decurion division is a method of dividing numbers where the divisor is larger than just one digit. Students use the golden beads to represent the dividend. The divisor is represented using the tokens (Decurions) from the decimal board. The students then share the beads equally between the tokens, keeping in mind that the tens tokens receive 10 times more of the beads than the unit tokens.
Decurion Division uses the golden bead material to solve long division problems.
